All our Engine mount kits come with powder coated brackets, production-style rubber insulators, fasteners and instructions. These kits allow you to bolt in a V8 directly to your K-member with no cutting, welding, suspension changes or K-member removal required. Bolts directly onto your existing Slant 6 or V8 K-members. Safety Note: These conversions will add more power and weight to the front of your vehicle. You must upgrade your braking system for safe operation. We also recommend upgrading your torsion bars for better handling. Some of the other engine-specific issues that must be dealt with when performing an engine swap will be detailed in the included instructions.

Engine Mount Conversion Kits(Slant-6 to Big Block V8) For those of you wishing to move up to a Big Block V8 383, 400 or 440, we now have this conversion kit. This kit allows you to bolt up a 383, 400 or 440 directly to your Slant-six K-member. The slant-six conversion we recommend changing the steering link to a V8 style for for more clearance of a V8 oil pan. Fits all stock power steering and power brake applications. Note: A simple notch in the K-member will be required for oil pump clearance (illustrated instructions and template provided). The oil pan must be a low profile center sump style - standard on most passenger cars. We recommend the 66-73 C-body style - stamping #187 or #699. The Mopar Performance oil pan may have to be dimpled for centerlink and idler arm clearance. Discount exempt.
