Gas Pedal - V8 versions . Had studs out the bottom to go through floorboard. Many 1965 models had a slide clip on the backside of the pedal - make sure yours if dealing for 1965 is not that type. IF so - you have a choice to finding a good used one or alter / modify to this type and install. Operation of the pedal to the linkage will all be the same just how it is mounted to the floorboard changes. NOTE: There is a difference on the backside of the pedal between a "Slant-Six" version and a "V8" version. Note for #312-40389 - this pedal can be used for 1965-66 A-body V8 cars as an option. Cosmetically the same pedal - just the mounting of it is different. GG-60 would require adding a 1/8" thick mounting plate on the underside of the floorboard and drilling 2 holes for the 2 studs of this fuel pedal throught the floorpan and this reinforcement plate in order to mount it properly.
