If the old tranny is getting tired and not quite what it was, it may be time for a rebuild. We offer Mopar Performance "performance" and "race" rebuild kits for both the 727 and the 904 transmissions. The performance kits include seals, gaskets, rings, bands, discs, and a filter, while the "race" kit includes all of this but uses heavy-duty cast-iron bands and a better clutch pack (this is not for race only vehicles, it is Chrysler's term for super-heavy-duty). Use one kit per transmission. Note: The 727 kits also include an extra clutch pack for Hemi cars.

New Chrysler speedometer gears for your Dodge/Plymouth car from 1966 and newer. Use this tire size/rear axle ratio chart to determine the correct gear for your car. To use this chart, simply reference your tire size with your rear axle ratio. Follow the row and column to find your respective gear part number. If tire size or gear ratio is changed, the speedometer pinion must also be changed or the speedometer will not read accurately. This chart does not represent all of the available speedometer gears, but does show the most popular tire size/rear axle ratio combination (ie. F70-14/3.23:1). These apply to both M/T and A/T cars. O.E.M tire size and P-metric modern equivalent are represented.

Fluid leaks from the side of the tranny are often due to a failed or missing O-ring. It is easy to overlook the O-ring when replacing the speedo cable. This seal kit includes the O-ring and both seals. New Chrysler part fits 1967-78 models with automatic or manual transmissions.
