Most early cars used staples to fasten the splash shields. Heavy-duty staples are included and must be installed one at a time by hand. Use an ice pick to punch holes. Most 1962 and newer splash shields take small wire type fasteners. These are not available, but were use for years on almost all cars. Check your wrecking yard.
