Foam Pad

Nice Reproduction of the tar paper pad located between the fuel tank and the body. Insulates the tank from rattles and vibration., but also eliminates any concern of the tank scratching the paint on the underside of the vehicle. These Foam version fuel tank pads are mainly used for those highly restored undercarriages that are using mirrors for show or for those owners not planning to drive in the rain. These foam pads WILL HOLD WATER and not intended for daily / weekly /occasional usage of vehicle on wet streets. NOTE: These pads are made of foam, unlike the originals which were tar. But once installed, the pads are not seen.

Tar Paper Pads

Here we have the other option that are more like the originals. These pads are made of roofing tar paper which is moisture repellent and the appearance, size and cutouts are the same as originals. For those of you that prefer originality over cost:
