If the old tranny is getting tired and not quite what it was, it may be time for a rebuild. We offer Mopar Performance "performance" and "race" rebuild kits for both the 727 and the 904 transmissions. The performance kits include seals, gaskets, rings, bands, discs, and a filter, while the "race" kit includes all of this but uses heavy-duty cast-iron bands and a better clutch pack (this is not for race only vehicles, it is Chrysler's term for super-heavy-duty). Use one kit per transmission. Note: The 727 kits also include an extra clutch pack for Hemi cars.

We've assembled several sets of reproduction shift-rod levers for Chrysler 4-speed transmissions. Each set includes three levers with the correct numerical stampings (see your particular application for the stamping code listing). Our reproduction levers are painted black (the originals have a natural metal finish) and have a reamed inside diameter for proper fit of the plastic bushings. Shift-rod levers (bolted to the side of the transmission) connect the shift rods to the transmission internals. Note: For full “shift-rods lever Sets see that section below

Bearing retainers bolt to the front of the transmission (surrounding the input shaft) and support the throwout bearing as it pushes against the pressure plate. More often than not, when the clutch pedal starts to drag and feel "sticky", the bearing retainer is the culprit. After years of sliding back and forth it will slowly wear a groove into the retainer. We carry new Chrysler retainers to give your clutch that factory feel again. Each retainer comes with a gasket and input shaft seal. Limited Availability - please inquire.
